Forced Induction now Available

Just thought I'd let anyone who thinks Boosted is Better know that Power Enterprise's twin turbo kit is now available...www.sgpracing.com has them, and they're selling for $7,980...2 IHI ball-bearing-based PE1420 turbochargers are the heart of the system...Also included are 2 exhaust manifolds, 2 down pipes, a front-mount intercooler, high-capacity aluminum oil pan and fuel pump, 6 fuel injectors, a fuel pressure regulator, 2 Air Impulse II intakes, an air pipe set, an oil line set, and gaskets...Stock you'll throw down 400HP at the wheels, and I know you can make this kit fit on the G35...It's about damn time someone released a twin kit for our rides!

Shouldn't be a problem outfitting the Sedan or Coupe with this kit, but you can wait to see when (if at all) Power Enterprise releases their vehicle-specific kit for the G35 Coupe...I've said it before and I'll say it again, you can get around almost any fitment issue, especially if you have the budget to do so...From the specs I've found and the pictures I don't believe the install will be difficult at all for the G35...

Key words there are "if you the budget to do so". I admit it...I don't. :-( I'm just going to have to live vicariously through those on here that do!! :-)

Re: Forced Induction now Available

yeah i was gonna say something about the intercooler. Damn, sometimes, I think about getting the impul front bumper...then i remind myself that I drive a g35 coupe, not a C-class. Oh well...hopefully some other company will come out with a kit that'll have one big opening for a nice big intercooler and still make it look like a G. Til that day...

Re: Forced Induction now Available

I think I'm going with the ProCharger until a TT setup comes out that's cheeper than 8 grand and offeres more boost. The ProCharger is only 5 grand, comes with the intercooler, and it makes 370 at the wheels.

Thanks - Joey Avino

7+ bars of boost is pretty much what most kits are going to release...GReddy is at 7.3, but they haven't released the TD05-18G kit yet...I like the fact that the Power Enterprise kit includes its own fuel system set-up...

Re: Forced Induction now Available

for 6500 greddy does not include the intercooler, and im not sure about injectors(it probably will haveto) PE does. Honestly, ill take HKS over PE but given the choice between greddy and PE ill take PE because i prefer IHI to mitsubishi turbos.

Re: Forced Induction now Available

I think anyone that could affor 8,000 just for forced induction could probably have afforded to start off with an M-5 or RS/6

04 Sedan. Obs. Black W/ Willow. Premium, Navigation, Sport Tuned. 35% Tint on sides, 20% back, K @ N, Brand Spankin New.

Re: Forced Induction now Available

I have personally seen THE test kit fitted on Cheston's 350Z, the kit that BECAME the power enterprizes TT kit.

There is NO WAY IN HELL that you gonha fit that intercooloer in the G, sedan or coupe. I talked to the guys who designed the kit from the ground up for mass production, and they said that our G's will require a wide and short (width by height as you look straight onto the front of te car) intercooler for the G's,. I gues youc an put on a totally custom bumber to make room for it, but I wouldn't do that.

The Z has a lot more room in front of the radiator, as well as that large whole on top above this same space. You need that as far as I remember for this kit's turbo fitment.

Also, that engine is not going to last very long with that much boost (this is from this turbo kit's designers, i.e fron the horse's mouth so to speak!). Our aluminum block engines are just not built for it. Sorry

Gurgen

Still 8K is too reach for my blood.
