Although a bit of good news, i did hear that Stillen is R&Ding a larger blower!!!
i know they have a bigger blower for the v8 titan but wouldnt it be sweet if they came out with a bigger unit you could just bolt on.then we could easily hit the 400 rwhp mark.who told you they were r@ding a bigger blower, was it sam.

Bigger blower? Hell, they need to open it up for tuning. And design one that fits the revups too...

yeah it was Sam. Although if you think about it, if we would have to change the blower, we would have to change the injectors, the piggyback unit, the fuel pump....wonder what that is going to cost us? The stg4 runs about $849. From what he is telling me, the M62 blower is maxed out about 340ish rwhp.

so what the fuel pump is a peice of cake to replace, the injectors are also easy, the fmu is the easiest part to replace.and yes the m62 is maxed out,the m90 is to big but if magnussen (eatons distributor) could come out with a m80ish blower that would be perfect.as long as it still fit under the stillen hood.

Did you put on the other thing I sent you yet?
No not yet. I'm just making sure the bugs are all worked out completely before moving on. BTW, is there a torque recommendation for it? I'll check out the PDF file that you sent me and see what it says.

I miss that sound. My wife thought my ride was slower since she couldn't here the blower anymore.

no real difference. Seems better top end power. I actually havent run faster times with the stage 3.

Yes that is my boy in the back ground. Poor kid he has the car bug even at a young age. I think it is hereditary.

Ha-ha. My daughter is the same way. She loves riding in my car and every time I hit the gas hard she starts laughing.

The other major problem with going with a larger blower that Stillen does not talk about is that the VQ can't take much more abuse at the low rpm. The Stillen makes so much torque at low rpm it is very hard on the engine and a larger blower may require a built engine.

I have a set of RC 440's at my house right now, a Walbro 255 installed and was thinking about changing the piggyback to a Unichip. I would like to try.

Twin turbos can make as much if not more torque from 3k and up than the Stillen ever makes. A larger blower will move the powerband a little just like larger turbos.

Look at the M112 in the Titan. Tq curve is almost as flat, but the power band is moved up somewhat. http://www.stillen.com/product_files/407560_dyno.pdf
