I didn't know ZCG has access to the JWT TT kit- I thought it was still being marketed as a "prototype" kit with only two shops carrying it- VRT, and Forged Internals?

Gurgen, how's it going?
OK, now knowing what you know now, Where would you go? I beleive it's just as important to have the kit installed correctly the FIRST time as it is which kit to get.......along with tuning too.......I'm still in the "planning" stages and i'm down the road of going s/t....to me, less piping, less clamps, less the chance of something going wrong, that's all.........not in the hp wars.
I heard of Mossey and one other in Rancho Cucamonga are great....what's your opinion? Since you are the pioneer for us sedaners.....!

Hey

glad to help here. Especially if I knew that it was going to take so many..."times" to get it right, and considering that all the failures but one were vendor/builder mistakes/screw ups (the one that I shared a fault in was probably 20% my fault to the enxtent that I trusted the hurried tuning the day before the track, and took out the car to the track knowing that it's not 100% done), I'd go to Sam at GT Motorsports NO DOUBT about it (especially sinice you are right here in SoCal). Can't speak for Mossey, but they are a dealership, which means you should DEFINITELY NOT go there! That's what I would do if I could magically have all my money back and start over.

i've tried and tried for G35x...even had my $$$ ready for deposit w/ a shop who said the APS TT would fit.

then went and got a second opinion at Zcargarage and they said its a no go for TT because of where our AWD differential is located and nowhere for the TT to go. the other shop just glanced at my car and said it would fit but i didnt trust them...had rob lift it and do a test fitment. nope

then again...zcar isnt an authorized APS dealer.

anyone else have any ideas? im even okay w/ some minor custom work to make it fit...

..

performance motorsports in long island suggested the turbonetics single turbo. That might fit since the turbo is on the drivers side and the transfer case is on the passenger side(????).

thats one of my two future options, Single Turbo, or Stillen Roots.
350z's are running high 11's with the single turbo on stock internals (slicks).
plus it is MUCH cheaper than TT.

hmmm...i dont think there's that much of a problem for TT on a regular sedan. spoken to Brainstorm in Socal and they said they've done APS TT installs on sedans/AT but not the G35x.

The turbonetics single sits on the drivers side. the transfer case is off-center on the passenger side. I think someone needs to do a test fit

i am either going stillen or turbonetics - whichever is cheaper (stillen has not come out with a 05 hood yet)

The TN will be cheaper once you figure in the hood for the Stillen. Just make sure you get the type of FI that is best for you. Those two are very different.
