Vortech doesn't ship the Revup kits until Friday the 21st. I am just "getting my ducks in a row." I definately enjoyed the other Vortech kit I had on my Cobra (536 rwhp / 460 rwtq @ 10 psi non-intercooled)

I have the pan spacer.I still taped the upper pan.Tapping into the spacer is not a good idea.It will not let the oil drain properly.

the APS pan would fall into the "spacer" category due to the low oil return location.

Tapped the upper pan . No problems what so ever . I dont really see a problem doing either . The blower and the ST sit higher than the oil level . And if the return line is ran straight down , it should drain back with no problems

Thats what I figured booger, however my buddy that I sold my Vortech to decided to try the JWT spacer and it's not draining correctly. The oil backs up and gets into the intake and the car is bogging.

that doesn't make sense.

the air side of the vortech should be totally sealed from the gear side. even if the gear side was totally filled with oil, it shouldn't be leaking into the air side of the blower. your friend's vortech may need to be rebuilt. It sounds liek a bad seal (or something similar)

Good point...

It was just rebuilt, well, the screw broke that held the cog to the blower.. I'm assuming during that time it was rebuilt. Knowing vortech probably not.
