Run With A Ferrari / VRT Style (Cont.)

Hello,

As promised, VRT showed up at California Speedway this past 7/21/06 with Speedventures to do what we have been talking about for weeks...

Our car was there, yet Ferrari Joe (360) wasn't NOR was USED with his East Coast Friends?

What - Up?

Plenty of fast cars though, multiple Ferrari 360s, 430s, Gt40s, new ZO6s, and Porsches. Oh well, here is some video, we had some fun at any rate.

Enjoy...

Nice vid.

Any chance we could see a version without the music, ads, and pics layed on top of the in car footage??

Mike, I have to be honest with you my friend...I don't mind the music and all, but the overlay things are annoying me man. Its like having somebody stand in front of your TV when you are watching your favorite show .

Great vid guys - thanks for posting. So is there a final ranking / average lap time at the end of the race? Would love to hear the results and the specs on the other cars if you know something about 'em...

Mental note: stay away from any future VRT videos. I've seen two now and they've both been full of annoying spam. They're clearning putting the videos out for advertisement, not just for the enjoyment of the community. Clearly there could be some fun footage there if it wasn't continuously interrupted with pop-up ads. Very weak.

lol - c'mon you're not serious are you?

And great advertising it is! I like the transparency effect - I can still watch the racing through the ad.

for VRT's mental note: I'm willing to watch every such video and have your advertisements ingrained into my subconscious. if you weren't so far away, i don't know i could've resisted going FI for so long

Many of the ads / plugs are not see-through, and block 90% of the screen. Why not just flash their ad ONCE for however long they think is necessary in the beginning, and then put their icon in the corner or something. It would get the point across without making them look bad.

^^^LOL, I see you are living up to the title under your username.

This is clearly a statement of preference on how VRT edits their videos. There are no "Pop up" ads lol. Its like a commercial, of course VRT is going to put their logo on it, apparently you just don't like the way they do it.

Point taken.

I will re-edit...
