Calling all APS ST owners! Tell me how much power you are making!

I just got my car back from the shop and i dynoed at 351.1 whp and 321 wtq. I can say that i am happy with the power, but i want to see how my power is relative to you guys. All i have on my car is an aps st, aps 3" exhaust, mrev plenum and spacer. Im not quite sure about the temperature at the time of the dyno, but it was around 7 at night so im guessing it was around 74 degrees. Where i live, it is always 60-65 degrees so i hope that would help a bit. Plus, the tuner told me that i should in actually have about 15-20 more hp because there is no flow on the dyno. Also, my clutch starting slipping on the dyno. So, tell me your numbers!!

Usually the tq #'s are higher than that, typically higher than HP, these are vortech numbers (SC).

Is there a problem with the APS singe turbo kit not holding boost?

depends on who you talk to. i have the aps st with the aps st exhaust. no boost drop at all. the kit is pretty finicky, but if installed correctly, you should'nt have boost issues. BUT, there are some that have had boost drop issues.

Nice numbers, very nice. Are you on the stock bottom end yet? Any noticable issues yet at those power levels? Maybe I should click on the link again and actually read the info on your car .

"We decided to maximize his current choice of components without going into the bottom end of the VQ."

How many miles do you have on the kit so far? I am really wrestling with my F.I. decision right now. I would really like to build the motor first to avoid headaches down the road, but it will take me a while to save up the cash needed to do it all at once. I'm so tempted to try and live with a 400whp car for a year until I can afford a serious build.

About 5,000 on the engine. i don't push it hard all the time even though at these power levels i know i'm on borrowed time. i'm hoping this winter to get a built short block, sell my completesingle turbo kit with exhaust and then go twin turbo. i think the power level i'm at is fine for 99% of the people out there, but i'm a power junkie. if i can afford it, i would like to see 600+.

Do you still have a cat on your exhaust? On the APS website, the kit seems to connect the outlet of the turbo directly to the mid pipe.
Thanks.

Sounds just like me. I was discussing my build plans with my wife, and she asked me how fast my car needed to be before I would finally be happy. I told her that unless it scared me, it wasn't fast enough .
