MPG for FI guys

For those of you who are running a forced injection G35, please post the kit and rated fuel consumption. Definitely something for me to consider as I am weighing the pro's and cons, and leaning getting a kit. Thanks

If you're worried about fuel consumption on a forced injection car, I would stay stock.

Stillen Stage 3 n milage is still the same.... getting about 300 - 350 miles per tank. Sometimes when my foot takes over i may get 220 - 250 per tank. It all depends on how you drive...

yeah MPG should be the last of your financial worries if going forced induction.

but to answer your question, mine is horrible.

I'm probably getting about 220-240 for city everyday driving and about 340-360 highway driving. I haven't been able to drive the car without mashing on the gas at least a few times, but I think you can stay near stock mpg if you don't get on it. Realistically, what's the fun if you go FI though and don't punch it every once and a while

+1 to the other comments about going FI and worrying about mpg...don't go FI if you're worried about mpg

I drive 65-75% city and average 17.5-18.5mpg.

I don't drive G but with my TT FX35, I get around 27.2mpg on freeway driving. In the city, I get between 5~7 mpg. In normal driving my gas mileage actually got better than when I was stock.

Stillen SC

MPG - Highway - 24

MPG - City = Lead Foot - 15

Love this SC. Would trade it for anything in the world, well, almost anything.

Part of the decision to make any modification is to weigh the pro's and con's. I'm not "worried" about fuel consumption, I just want to know what to expect.
I searched and searched and was not able to find a thread like this, so part of the reasoning in creating this thread is to document the data for others in the future.

Thanks for all the input, guys. Keep it coming!

If you don't drive much different 0 you shouldn't see marked changes.

I average about 2-3MPG less than I did when I was ALL NA. BUT, I love to hear that BOV...

i'd thought fi gets u equal or better fuel economy, when driving within speed limits and casually accelerating, than with stock...you'll just have more expendable power on tap and what not when you need to mash the throttle.... on the other hand if you mash the go pedal everytime to get the rush from the fi then you'll definitely get less mpg...
