I had some custom OEM-styled emblems designed and manufactured for the 350Z crowd that had gone FI and based the design on the JDM FAIRLADY Z emblem. Many G35 owners that frequent my350z.com in the FI forums have asked if I would do something for the Infiniti G35 owners who've also gone FI. What I had in mind was an emblem that would be mounted on the left side of the rear trunk, opposite "G35" and would say TWIN TURBO. The emblem would be vacuum-metallized chrome plated, have pre-cut double sided adhesive, and come with a mounting jig just like the OEM replacements. A few of the Cali owners have suggested instead an emblem that says "3.5 TT" (presumably to keeps the CARB cops from showing too much interest). What I need is a show of hands as to how many people might be interested. Understand that the initial design and prototyping costs are high and it can take as much as three months from design to production, but the results will be worth it. Ballpark selling price for an emblem like this will probably be around $70.00 or so. I would need at least fifteen people to prepay to get this rolling. Chances are the letters will be held together with small attaching tabs (to make it easier to work with during the finishing process). I will try and get something for the ST folks that only has the single "T" but it's ultimately going to come down to demand for any one particular style that determines what gets made.

 

Well, it might not be that much; it depends on what is produced. I based $70.00 on producing an emblem that says TWIN TURBO. If I end up producing 3.5 TT, it might be cheaper. The larger the emblem, i.e. the more characters it has, the more expensive it's going to be.
