New Clutch

hey guys. I need to get a new clutch and i wanted to get some feed back or suggestions. The dealership is saying 1000 to resurface my flywheel and install a new clutch. Is that a rip and do you think I should go aftermarket? I've looked at the threads on here and it looks like I should go with act or jwt.

thanks again!

You might want to search on aftermarket clutches. I remember reading about someone who got one and was disappointed with how much noise it generated.

its not like our cars are quiet to begin with, you have to figure whats more important: performace or quiet?

thank you all!!!!

but i think i'm going to go with stock. i dont have any other mods done to the car and of late i have been very intrested in getting the new g35. so i'm going to be going with stock to keep the powertrain warrenty.

but i'm very jealous of all of you! mods make the owners soooo happy!

thanks again

it isn't. but what i think he meant was he doesn't want to go aftermarket b/c if something ever does go wrong with his transmission, the dealership can't void the warranty b/c of an aftermarket clutch.
