Untrue as I have the same setup as Bigbri an Maruci(sp?) had and they were well over 500rwhp, I am using the fuel system from APS with the upgraded injectors and a walbro fuel pump, I did have the CJM return fuel system at one time but sold it as I did not think it was necc. at this time.
Do a search on Bigbri over on my350Z.

Why did you de-tune almost 200whp? That much less without test pipes, lower octane and for more safety?

The 600hp plus was using higher octane which I am not going to be looking for everytime I drive to work and it was also using a methanol system which I decided not to buy, I wanted to get the most out of the car with 91 pump gas which unfortunately with my current exhaust was 450rwhp, if i upgraded to a better system then it would have been around 150 less hp which is about right as it was tuned to 16psi and I am now only pushing 12psi.
I thought about how much power I wanted and anything more than 500 is not going to be usable with the traction issues I have now so it was a middle ground which I decided on.

Cool man...wish I could make Tony work...but it's his business, not mine. He works hard every day though...

hey urban,

i've got my full metallic hfc+catback coming from FI any day now. I don't plan to go TT till later this year - I'd be interested to hear how well your APS TT picks up power w/ the dual 2.5. I'll bet your peak torque matches your peak hp. Plz let us know how the tune goes...

AFAIK, you're the only TT built setup with the FI full exhaust.

---------------
And Rick, the FastIntentions website does NOT mention the diameter of piping - it might have at one time, but I even did a text search to make sure I wasn't missing it! I confirmed w/ Tony it was 2.5" all the way - might want to get that added on as it might turn off a lot of potential customers - in fact a little technical blurb section would be perfect, including the weight etc. You've answered so many questions on the forums - might as well post a faq or tech section to the website.

I went with this for two reasons, 1. It is right in the middle of what kind of loudness I want, I have heard the Greddy TT is a very good exhaust also and very quite compared to HKS but I was looking for something in between. I also did not like the Greddy's big mufflers right before the tips, looks rather to much (my opinion only), the FI also has the resonated tips which is what I have right now.

2. I could not argue on the price, got a great deal. Paying 1400-1500 on exhausts is just not for me anymore, I have been doing this modding game for 9 years and I understand the R&D which goes into these products but the price some manufactures charge is just out of this world.

Even I have principles and not paying for something that I consider overpriced is one of them...just like the housing market I suppose

rcdash- I will be tuning my car this coming week with the setup I have as I am running rich above 4k rpm, then once my system arrives I will be tuning it once more to see the differences, the only thing I am waiting on is Alto to come out with their new clutch packs as I want to have the new built tranny installed before the final tune.
I did not want to mention that the website does not mention the diameter or weight anywhere on it but I am glad you did.

doesnt FI offer a "dominator" exhaust or something like that?

i think it's similar to the intimidator exhaust but with 3.5" piping or something made for f/i applications

i don't think the dominator (which I think is 3" true dual) has made it to production yet.

I'm interested in new clutch packs - haven't read about "Alto" before - plz more info! I was just going to go w/ VB from Forged and hope it held to the 500 whp I am shooting for (w/ std JWT kit).

Read this thread, this will get you up to speed with the clutchpacks which a few of us are waiting on. I already have the VB and TC upgrades but just want the whole package done.

The Dominator sounds interesting but I will stick with the 2.5...I ain't trying to break any records here.

Yep - sorry about that - my bad. I haven't looked at the site for along time. We had the description up there months ago, but when some changes were uploaded, it looks like an older verison of the text went up with it as well.

Anyways - there is a new webmaster building the site and all the details will be verified before it goes up this time...I'm sure.

Rick
