Its a full standalone but keeps the OEM ECU for creature comforts and some other stuff like the DBW.

Have you thought about doing a dyno run with the stock plenum? 440whp at 10psi seems low for your setup.

yeah i need to. i am also losing torque with the kinetix manifold. on a couple of the low boost runs i did i wasn;t making the 380+ mark, its was more like 370. We think that the manifold has alot to do with it. Being a show car, i am going to leave the kinetix, but once its retired i am going to go back to the stock plenum with the plenum spacer.

440 was just a lowball number, A 350z here in dallas with about the same mods as me dynoed 453whp at 10psi. I am hoping to break at least 450 at the wheels. Only difference being that he is running the plenum spacer not the kinetix manifold.

4th gear dyno pulls are standard procedure for tuning because you get a longer curve to work with for tuning etc.. thats my guess.

usualy you do 5th gear b/c its a 1:1 gear ratio. Anything else takes some correction and can lead to varying dyno numbers.

I can see using 4th to tune but for power numbers its a little fishy.

when you are tuning, you want the longest gear possible when you are datalogging. it gives you the most accurate timing and fuel figures for each rpm.

the only reason people use 4th gear is because they dont know that 5th is 1:1 or they would like to put down a little higher numbers.

SICK ride... I'm loving the color man. Hey all that work under the hood and no driverside battery cover!!!??

On a side note... What happens to people with a 3.3 FD with a manual? Does that change the 1:1 in 5th on the dyno??
