a/f readings a little weird...???

my a/f ratio has been a little weird. Before it use to idle (when warmed up) between 14.3 and 15. Now its fluxuating from 13.5 all the way to 16.2. Does anybody know what may be the cause? any reason for me to be concern?

wonder if this is the reason why my gas mileage is like crap now. 200 on a full tank.

thanks in advance

i have 440s injector. i'll check the exhaust.

i'm not loosing compression or boost. but i find it weird for my a/f to fluxuate that far apart.

Have you ever gone into limp mode?

I hit limp mode a couple of times due to overboosting and maxing the MAF. After that I started having the same idle fluctuations. After a while I started seeing different readings under boost as well. I changed my MAF and it seems to have fixed the problem.

I don't know if there is a way to test just your MAF but it wouldn't hurt since a new one is about $300.

never been in limp mode

still does it

now i'm not too concern with the a/f but am freaking out about the car shutting off when idle dips below zero. I might have a leak somewhere but can't seem to find it.

^+1

Sounds like an O2 sensor or fuel problem.

My idle is between 14.3 and 15.4 on a bad day and I have a UTEC and 440's.

In the regulator or in a hose?

Either way there will be some fuel come out but the best thing is to let the car sit for a while (1+ hour) and then go slow. There will be a lot less pressure that way.
