Turbo timer install
I've wanted to put my turbo timer inside my ash tray for awhile now. For the past month I have been FI, it has just been sitting between the center console and my seat. Today, I finally stopped procrastinating and did it. It came out pretty good. My only problem is that I lost the function of the door staying shut. You will see what I mean in the pictures below.

This is why the ash tray door won't stay shut.

The red lines represents where a plastic bar was before. It had the female part of the clip attached to it. The blue lines are the outline of the turbo timer. I had to remove the plastic bar in order for the turbo timer to be able to sweep open with the ash tray.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to make the ash tray stay shut?

hey man, its lyndon at dans. i was just looking at it...why dont you use double sided tape to stick the clip to the turbo timer? that way it will stay in pretty much the original place and you'll have normal use of the door.
edit: i dont think that will work if the timer moves easily with the door trying to open. i guess id have to play with it to get a better idea.
