Anyone have TT yet?

Anyone have a TT in their coupe yet? What kind? Has power enterprise released their kit for the coupe yet? Have tests been done on the greddy and whatever other kits are out there to prove reliability? Any information about pricing and installation time, reliability, and which is the best kit to get, please let me know..thanks.

Re: Anyone have TT yet?

With my experience install time for a turbo kit has been 8 to 10 hours, with superchargers taking 6 to 8 hours...Price tags are going to be around $6K without an intercooler and from $8K to $9K for twin kits with intercoolers...

As far as my opinion goes, the Power Enterprise kit is superior to GReddy's...The components included are better and the kit more substantial...As I'm a firm believer that forced induction carries with it the responsibility to upgrade engine internals I feel the PE kit is better as the PE1420 turbos will support 625HP to 650HP, with GReddy's TD05-18G turbos only supporting 420HP to 425HP

Re: Anyone have TT yet?

I really don't like speculating on release dates, as invariably the date is never right...I mean, the GReddy kit was always "coming out as you read this" and after 6 or 7 months of that it finally came out...All I can say is the PE kit, to my knowledge, doesn't offer anything but the full kit with intercooler...The GReddy for some reason comes either with or without...Maybe some people don't use intercoolers with turbos but damned if I know anyone that does that or supports that practice...I suppose if you got a better deal with the GReddy w/o intercooler and sourced Spearco for a custom one which possibly cost less that GReddy's than you might save some money

So, I won't sit here and give you false hope with guessing at a release date...I will say the MSRP will most likely be between $8K and $9K but that if you visit www.i-m-racing.com or www.sgpracing.com you can save a grand or two...Be aware that some people have experienced poor delivery times with IM Racing...I personally recommend the PE kit when it becomes available but of course GReddy (Trust) is a reliable company

On a final note, while you'll need to source Spearco or another intercooler manufacturer for a custom unit, you can research the PE kit for the 350Z to see if a mechanic you trust or you yourself can get around any fitment issues and use that kit...Remember the TechnoSquare ECU- you'll want it after installing a forced induction system
