Stillen SS Box problems

Has anyone had a problem with their car bucking and hesitating due to the SS box. The dealership said there is no problem with the car except the code comes up that there is a problem with timing, but they say it has to be the box because there doesn't seem to be any other problems with the car.

Well last night I rewired the harness back to stock and disconneted the supercharger belt and it runs great. No problems at all except it doesn't have much power. Still waiting for Stillen to get back to me with test results. By the way I installed the whole assembly and soldered all the wires for the SS box. Thanks for your input.

Yeah that was me at blockbuster the other night. Thats a real nice car you have. Well Stillen has not got around to testing my box, but they are going to send me a used one that's been laying around in place of mine. I guess that's better then nothing, seeing that there is no warranty on this stuff, But their parts should last longer than seven months.

I had a similar issue with my initial stage 4 SS box, back in the day when I was one of the VERY first to go stage 4. They had tuning issues on the very first ones which caused the car to run WAY too rich, and thus the car would want to stall out, and buck/jerk etc... all the time. swapping out the box fixed the issue.

FYI for everyone with the stillen.....
I have also heard from some customers that they run into very similar issues after a rain, or washing the car or engine bay out, and the cause ends up being moisture builds up at the box or gets to the box and gets inside somehow. They're fairly durable with regards to water sealing but sometimes it happens. This can cause the same symptons, and may end up being the case IF you have not had these problems before on your stillen SC car.

glad the issue is fixed (BTW were you the customer that came in to us here after the stillen day?)

No It wasn't me, but now I'm having a new problem with the car. It won't start. I changed out the battery, checked the fuses, disconnected the ss box and rewired back to stock and nothing seems to fix the problem. Do you have any ideas what I may be over looking. thanks

Bad connection on the SS box. Given that it was the last thing changed, I would bet it has something to do with it.

I Just Rewired It Back To Stock And The Problem Is Still There. Could It Be A Clogged Fuel Filter Or Something Causing No Spark?
