Vortech Belt Broke
Hey guys,
My belt broke on my vortech. The small one that sits right above the vortech. It doesn't spool up anymore cuz it broke. I need to buy a new one from Vortech but I have no idea what the official name or part number is?
I have the Vortech kit for an 5AT G35 Coupe.
ANy help will be much appreciated.

How do I put it on? Just unbolt the pulley and put it on? That simple?

You have to loosen the tensioner pulley AND climb under the car and loosen the tension bolt. There should be a DIY thread somewhere on here or my350z from quite a while ago showing step by step. It is VERY simple.
Install new belt (Belt diagram is in the vortech installation manual and can be found on vortech website in .pdf form), tighten bottom tension bolt, and then tighten pulley.
The only pain is removing the bottom plastic engine protector. Simple, but a pain in the a$$ with all the bolts. Many of us have just cut a 2" hole where the tension bolt is and then you do not need to take off the cover at all.
Good luck.

Check page 17 (for 2006) for belt routing here:http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...s/4NZ218im.pdf
