It's good to be in the club. I can't wait to actually be able to drive the car now. lol!!

 

The leak has been found and fixed and I should get my baby home tonight!

 

Update:

So the leak was fixed but then one of the belts started slipping when it was put back on the dyno. I guess there aren't a lot of Rev Up motors running the 2.87 pulley. This is the issue at the moment. But Sam is gonna work on it to get this set up working right. More updates soon.

 

I called Sam today also to find out if my car had any serious issues and so far all looks good. We may have to send the turbos in to get looked at due to some smoke I keep getting but Sam said that they rebuild them with bigger cartridges more power lol. Anyway I told him I need specs as the car is going to be featured in Dsport magazine next month got to get this thing back on the road soon with hopefully some new numbers.

 

DSport mag?? Nice. I'll have to pick up a copy of that. Man, it is really killing me being without my G. Any idea how long you will be without yours?

I have no idea how long mine will be gone, this is the second week it' been there and I miss my car already. I was told that it may not be much time unless the turbos need working on which may extend the timeline.

 

I just spoke with Sam and my G is going back on the dyno. They had to do a little bit of machining to one of the pulleys but he thinks it should be okay now. If it doesn't end up working out, we are gonna scrap that idea and just go with the 3.12 pulley.

 

haha! Trust me, you don't wanna know. Plus I went with a lot of extra little goodies so it is far beyond just the basic kit.

 

Any internal work? also did you get a bigger FMIC? A microwave oven will be nice especially on long driving (Popcorn anyone)

Just got a partial dyno...and i'm running pretty lean. Might be sending my car down there soon too
