APS TT fitment questions

so i just got a call from the shop installing the aps tt on my 06 coupe. they said that there's a fitment problem and it's hitting the steering column. they researched and tried shaving a bit off the column but it's still not going to work. the only other conclusion they came to was to raise the motor a bit with washers. any ideas guys? will raising the motor (to a certain extent of course) hurt me in the long run somehow?

Actually I think it tells you in the instructions to shave a bolt which is hitting the steering column, I had the same issue as do many others on my350z and mine ginded when I turned left, since mine was shaved I do not get the issue anymore.

hmm...they shaved quite a bit off and it's still touching :| well, they did some research and apparently another shop raised the engine a little bit with washers on the mounts to clear the column. i think they're going that route since shaving the bolt on the column didn't work out. hopefully no problems will arise from raising the engine. *keeping fingers crossed*

Hmm, first I have heard of this in two years of turbo research.
