FI owners please come in

Hello guys.
I'm doing some research for FI.
If it's possible I'd like to know your setup, and pro's and con's, price paid, and if you have to do it again what would you change(upgrade)?
Most likely I'm gonna be going with TT, but want to know all the options as well as pro's and con's of each kit.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Leo

ps. if this is a repost, please delete the thread. Thx

Thanks for your inputs.
I'm pretty much set my mind on TT setup.
So far, I like JWT TT, APS TT Extreme, and PE TT setup.
I've searched few threads, but didn't find any pricings or problems or upgrades that can help, run better without failing.

Thanks man.
I've been following your thread and yes it is very helpful.
In addition to your thread, I want to know what kind of problems they are having, and what kind of upgrade can be made to make a fail proof(if it's possible) most power making Setup. So if you have TT car, and have something to say about your kit, please chime in.
Thanks in advance.

SFR TT FTW

I got the APS TT Kit since it was the one kit that comes with almost everything except for the gauges.
One thing though APS is all the way in Aussie and to get customer support or ordering replacement parts is like pulling teeth.

Oh yeah and the occasional oil smoke on deceleration really brings home the spy hunter effect home.

hey leo, i see you're still second guessing yourself! LoL

like I said just keep on hanging out @ the shop and you'll run into more of the other JWT TT owners, and you can hear it from their mouth.... nothing beats it for reliability.

I've had no reliability issues with the Greddy.......it is a killer kit! with the ability to really crank up the boost when you decide to build the motor. The greddy has the most potential of all 3......if that is what you are looking for.

lol Alex. By now you should know how picky I am.
Yeah but all the kidding's aside, I am trying to get more info, but looks like I will be going with ... well something.
I will try to swing by next week and we will talk more.
But whichever kit I'm going with, VTR is my choice of shop for install & Tuning.
Talk to you soon Bro.

In the mean time, Any commnets about APS TT or JWT TT setup?

If you're set to going to VTR then you're really down to JWT, TN or Vortech (Maybe Greddy if you insist). First ask them what EMS they are comfortable with second what kit they prefer. I'm saying this because they are the one who's going to install so you want the kit that they are familiar with. If you want APS you want to go to a dealer and VTR is not a dealer. Like you said you are Dead Set to go to VTR so your only option for TT is JWT.

arvin, i have an acct w/ APS just for the record... but like Gio pointed out... the lack of support as far as warranty and replacement parts is nowhere near the JWT TT... in all fairness its because they dont have a real stocking warehouse in the US.... everything has to be ordered from APS headquarters in Australia.

Leo, not a problem my friend! =) i'll be seeing like always.

/\ I just want to point out to the OP that if he really trust your shop that he should just listen to you guys coz you'll be the one who's going to do the build and troubleshooting and service will be a lot easier. That is why we pay top $$$ for a reputable shop, they know better from experience I did inquire about APS with you guys about a year ago and the warranty and Service of APS(pain in the A$$) is one of the reason that you guys didn't carry it.
