Question for Stillen Auto owners...?

I just installed my stage 1 thursday and everything seems great! I have a few concerns though.

1. Is there anyway I can make sure the 7th injector is working?
2. Anyway I can see if the timing is being retarded the way it should?
3. WOT when shifting from 1 to 2 in mm should I be running rich enough to see a little black cloud behind me? (im pretty sure its fuel)

Im going to try to get it on a dyno tomorrow to make sure everything is running okay.

One more thing... stillen told me that I would loose a pound of boost due to my strup headers and kinetix hf cats but Im still hitting 6lbs

Thanks Guys!

1.In as few words as possible no but if you have a wideband you will be able to see your a/f ratio and thet will tell you.
2.Nope(if it isnt you will hear pinging).
3.Nope you will see nothing if it is running properly.
4.Dont waist your time with stage 1 go right to stage 4 and you will feel a dramatic difference in power.

If you are running rick from 1st to 2nd you will see something. I see a little black cloud now and im still NA without headers or HFCs, but i have the cat set up to run rich.

I think something around 360. It should be 410 to the fly - per stillen.

That is exactly what people dont understand about the stillen kit.It dosent give out a ton of horsepower but it gives a incredible amount of tourque.....right away.Wait to you go stage 4 cause there is no comparison between stage 1 and stage 4.

6psi with headers and cats is high. Sounds like you have a stage 3 pulley on there. I only hit ~6.3 psi with oem manifolds and high flow cats and a Stage 3 pulley. It went back to just over 7 when I put the stock cats on.

Oh and as for the power, yes the Stillen's numbers are not as high as the others but it makes great average power. I was shocked at how fast the Greddy TT made boost. The Stillen Stage 4 only made more HP/TQ until ~1800rpm and then the TT ran away from it.

if the car doesnt feel right then you have something wrong, if it does then dont worry about it.

step it up to stage 4 if you want to see some more power...

You want stage 3 or 4?

Stage 3 is just another pulley, they might upgrade the fuel pump now with 3, I did anyway but it was not required at the time.
Stage 4 is a new SS box, pulley, larger injector (7th only), and fuel pump.

I thinking their SS pulley set, for the accessory belts, in conjunction with the stage 4...

Ok, the timing is set with the fuel on a given boost/load and RPM based on how Stillen Tuned their SS box but that is about it. The SS box is not capable of retarding your timing when it hear any Knock. Basically the only option you have is get a gauge (at least Wideband A/F and Boost) to monitor your car.
