custom turbo kit for 04 coupe 6mt????
hey everybody...i was thinking on building a custom single turbo kit for my car...not me but my uncle is going to do all the work...he specializes on our motors...he built his own turbo kit for his evo 8 which dynoed at 745whp...daily driven...but n e ways enough of that...i need your guys opinion ...i was thinkin of getting this turbo.. http://www.pfabrications.com/inc/sdetail/444...tell me what you think?? i need the people that know what they are talking to tell me what i should do...is this a good turbo??...my plans are to just reach around 500rwhp ..daily driver...at low boost..im even considering the high 400's...let me know guys...look at www.pfabrications.com..and tell me what i should get?? what turbo?
Honestly I think it would be a great idea to do it yourself. Especially if your uncle already works on them.
I have a few questions/comments:
1) It is generally understood that anything over 400whp will require to build your internals. Keep that in mind.
2) What do you mean by low boost?
3) If your uncle works on the VQ's already, I would talk to him about the actual turbo.

i just off the phone with him to discuss my setup....heres my plan
1) eagle rods
2) JE pistons
3) Darton Sleeves
4) Ferrera Valve Springs
these are the mods he told me to get before everything...even the turbo...
i just researched these mods a while ago and it came to be around 2200 for just those...he told me to work from the bottom up...he said the turbo is the last thing...ahhhhhhhh!!!!

just finished putting the blue prints together...im gonna use the garrett gt35...single turbo for my ride...hes plans are to get my g to around 500 rwhp daily driven...woooo!!!
