Engine Problems (pistons), Need Help!

I have a g35 coupe 2006 AT, running vortech s/c with stock pulley, am getting oil leak all over my engine, i took it to the garage he told me pistons 2,4,6 are weak and they are leaking oil, and i have to replace my pistons.

this problem started the first time after pressing on 4th gear for a while in a ~35C temp (noon), but after that the car ran normally without any loss of power for few days, then when i pressed on 4th gear again, on a ~28C temp (night), it leaked again, and now my intake, S/C and intercooler are filled with oil, both times my water temp was normal. so is there a chance it can be something else...

thanks in advance.

what kind of test did they perform on your motor to determine 2,4,6 pistons were weak?

I would still get the exact # on the compression test so we can see if it is really low. A few points low doesn't mean it is bad.

I think your garage is trying to sell you an engine rebuild. Think about it. Boost is created by the SC, then sent through the intercooler, then up through the throttle body, then into the engine, then finally out the exhaust. If you had leaking pistons, how in the hell does oil get into your intercooler from the block? I think your SC is leaking.

yea thats what am thinking too, so i went and started the car today, first i get smoke from the front of the car, which i think its from the intercooler and s/c... and i get black smoke coming out of my exhaust, i am thinking maybe cuz the car is running too rich?!.... but the main issue is my car viberates at idle, i was thinking maybe the spark plugs are flooded with oil..... so i went for a test run, the car is running pretty normal.... so guys can you plz help me confirm the issues i got if its cuz of the oil leak from the s/c...

are u burning any oil in the exhaust? I think a head gasket leak? what is your compression when you did your cylinder check?

yea, there is alot of black residue on my garage floor, moreover i havent changed my head gasket when i fit the s/c

and for the compression numbers i dont have them yet, but ill get them today

shouldnt i feel a loss of power when there is a problem with the compression?!

Like I said over at my350Z ....your seals are probably bad in the SC . I have had them go bad on me twice on two different blowers .

1- how long [ miles ] has your SC been installed ?
2- has it been tuned ? or is it running the stock Vortech tune ?
3- What octane gas do you run in the car ?

It is possible....but highly unlikely....that ringlands are broken off and oil is getting blown through the crank case vent hose that is hooked up to the air filter .Thats why I asked how long the kit has been on and if it had been tuned or not .

Where are you located? Find a good performance shop to diagnose the issue.

Usually, slightly lower compression in a piston doesnt cause oil to leak all over the exterior of the engine. On the surface, it sounds like something else.
