Tonight was shop night at Autobarn Nissan here in Evanston IL and got my gauge pods on. Some quick shots. I'm super happy with Larry/Jeff's work. These guys are amazing!

^The gauges are 52mm's. They are fairly small.

You get pulled over for having gauges in cali? Or just in that spot?

HAHA no not for having gauges but for giving them the knowledge that you have done something to your car. We have task teams up here who know what signs to look for and pillar mount pods and gauges are on the list.

It looks like you are having the same problem I had... The gauge pod looks great, but at night the reflection of the gauges comes up right in the middle of the windshield. If the gauges are bright, that can be both annoying and distracting. I ended up making a beak for the gauge pod to stop the reflection in the glass. (I'll post pics some time soon.)

^I'm fine with it. I don't pay that much attention to the reflection. Its better in person because I used a really slow shutter on my camera, so it looks brighter then it really is.

also pix from outside of the car looking in. I want to see how bulky it looks from the outside.

I wonder if flat black would look closer to the stock color trim.

Its actually the cover over the display, with the pod mounted to it. It hooks in using the OEM connections.

It was glued to the cover, then fiberglassed over the whole thing. Its extremely sturdy. It has no flex in it at all.

I found a cool night pic of my custom gauge. I was looking through old pics, and came across this one.
