More questions

Hey guys, hope everyone is going to have a good chrismas.

I have a couple questions, i looked into the greddy TT for a 06 g35 and everything will work, just needs a new map on the e manage. However, my dad is helping me buy this and we both like the fact that the stage 3 stillen supercharger for the 06 comes with the warrenty and also i personaly like the instent power and the high torque. But the things i dont like are the hoods they sell are just so ugly and look cheap, and also for the fact that every post someone does on them you guys say to change and go vortec or turbo. SO, my question is do you think the 410hp and 380 torque at the flywheel is the true numbers i will see. And your guys over-all opinons.

sorry about spelling im at work and am not allowed to be on forums lol!

Question is are you happy spending $7k for something that will never break 350whp? By the way what warranty are you talking about? Only stage 2 has the warranty and that will not give you your 400Bhp, also the warranty is only for the Block so you have to pay for the labor. You can buy a used short block for less than a $1000 and if I'm paying for labor then I might as well build the engine. You can purchase a Built Short block for around $3000-$4000 so go do the math if that is worth it.

If I were you, I will do more research before you get Flame silly here.

From my experience, the Stillen engine warranty is completely worthless.

The Greddy TT kit is a terrific starting point, but you'll want to add a few extras, or your engine will fail very quickly. At a minimum, a walbro pump, blow off valve, utec and pressure sensor, and a custom tune.

Vortech is so so...the last batch of Vortech's had a pretty high bearing failure rate...even when returned from Vortech from repair. And they don't produce a whole lot of trq (they don't feel very fast).....of course...unless you add some nitrous.

IF you need anything....even some free advise...just give us a call or PM!.

Feeling fast and being fast are two different things. Give me a linear power curve anyday. Vortech'ed VQ35's are in the low 12's already, so I guess it depends on what your goals are. Do you drag race or track your car? Your answer will determine the kit you want.

Just trust me on this the stillen is a waist of money.I had it since mid 2003 cause there was nothing else out there that didnt blow up every single motor(nobody thought of reducing the timing back then).I now have the greddy twins an def not looking back.
The stillen does have that intial rush of torque but it dosent produce much power and in the upper rpm bands it sucks.Stick with either a cent blower or a turbo kit...........with proper tuning of course............you wont be sorry.
