Another FI Gauge poll

Mmmkay. . .lets say I already have these gauges:

Vac/Boost
AFR (Left Bank)
AFR (Right Bank)
ATF Temp

. . .but there's room for two more, which would you choose?

Oil pressure is more important than ATF Temp. So, I vote Oil pressure - then any of the other three to round out your set.

Hmmm. . .I was thinking that EGT and Oil Temp are both good indicators of overall engine "temp" so I'd probably pick one of the two. . .but then, which pressure is more critical to monitor? Oil or Fuel?

Never pay attention to what Jtrain post!!! EGT is a good gauge to get but only after Boost/Wideband/Oil Pressure... After these three it will be debatable between Fuel Pressure and EGT IMO. Wideband can give you an Idea of your A/F but that doesn't really tell you if your EGT is going up especially in the Summer.

On my previous FI'd truck, I had an EGT gauge that was very helpful in tuning/engine monitoring. My father's procharged C6 has an EGT gauge also. I already have 2 AFR gauges, so the left over slots can be filled with 2 of the 4 poll items.

Thanks keep them coming.

Oil pressure for sure. With the oil consumption issues that VQ's are notorious for having, an oil pressure gauge is a great gauge to have. The EGT would be a nice one to round it out.

Oil pressure for sure, engines live and die according to lbs pressure.

Oil pressure for sure. EGT is a waste for a SC car IMO. I would round it out with fuel pressure because you may end up with a return kit and high boost where this can help a lot.
