supercharge or turbo/twin turbo
I have an completely stock 03..6speed...what does everyone recomend supercharging, single turbo, or twin turbo. And anyone that is familiar with the kits, what else would I need besides what is included. How reliable is each one...Thanx...
ye i tried searching...couldn't come up with exactly what I was looking for..ill try different search words...also why is there such a huge difference in price between the greddy tt kits and the aps tt kits?

yeah that'll cost you sum major $$$$ to do all the internals, then go FI......that would be even more $$$$.....i hope you have some major $$$$ laying around......i was about to go twin-turbo myself and had about 8K laying around, but found out that after internals and turbos were installed, along with tuning and labor, i was close to 15K...!!....
thats too rich for my blood.......so i'm looking into SC my G.........but there should be sum major info in the FI section.....start there and good luck to ya....!!
A supercharger would be reliable and you really don't have to rebuild the motor. The performance will be good but not as good as a turbo.
If you're looking keep it as a daily driver and need a little kick every not and then, a supercharger would be just fine. But don't expect it to be super fast.
Just remember this, you can only pick 2 of the the 3.

* Cheap
* Reliable
1) Fast and Cheap = Won't be reliable
2) Cheap and Reliable = Won't be fast
3) Fast and Reliable = Won't be cheap

Well I can state for the Greddy TT Kit. Done mostly properly at my shop it has costed the customer about 15K to get the engine rebuilt with rods, pistons, arp studs all around, oil pan spacer, throttle body spacer, BOV, downpipes, fuel kit and pump, clutch and flywheel. That was him getting the TT, intercooler kit and E01 for 4500 on ebay. My quote to rebuild and install was about 4K less than other local performance shops. So none of its cheap and a rebuild should definately be a requirement.
