It's just sitting on there, not installed. It snaps into place and is flush.

My question was did he buy it. I always wondered who got his because I wanted it. It looks exactly the same, gauges and all. I know he sold it to someone on here.

I have my car at a local audio shop right now having my gauges installed. We are putting them in the upper cubby above the glove box. The gauges will be completely recessed and have a black acrylic piece laid over them it will kind of look like the air conditioning display. I did this just to keep the “sleeper” look with my sedan. I will post pics when I get it back this week.

If you were going with five gauges, why didn't you put them all in the same place?

I'm doing 6 gauges so they would not fit. ^ That looks too cluttered to me but to each their own. Others might think it works a lot better than the a pillar and over there.

I thought about something like that but want them where I can see them more of the time without having to look way over. Plus my UTEC tuner, EDFC and EBC are in my cubby right now.

It's not hard at all. It just takes time and a lot of sanding. Fiberglass and bondo are not tough. Just pick up some bondo, resin and mat at home depot some time and play around with it. If you practice on something you can thow out first you'll get the hang of it.

What six gauges do you absolutely need? I like KPierson's setup in his coupe. He installed a small computer on top of his spare tire. The computer tied into his actual navigation system. He was able to display data onto the screen and the navigation still worked. It was a nice setup without a doubt. Believe he could monitor 4 different parimeters on screen and had two more gauges mounted inside the arm rest.

That sounds very clean. Kevin has lots of great things like that.

I like the look of gauges and found a good deal so I got all the ones I wanted. I have wideband A/F, Boost, EGT, Oil press, Oil temp and Fuel press. They are all the Autometer Nexus 52mm which have ~7 colors and match the oem amber dash perfectly plus they have data log to SD card via the remote.

So it was you! I wanted that one so bad so I didn't have to make my own. Do you have any pics of it in the new color?
