APS Oil pan and vortech... and g35x

The damn search wont work on 3 character works, so "APS oil pan" comes up with nothing.

I am just doing some research on oil pans or oil pan spacers with taps for use with a vortech kit.

1. Anyone have a aps oil pan on a g35 x? (If it doesnt work, what does?)

2. whats a good price for one? I see everywhere from $99 to $360
( is grdstore any good ? http://www.grdstore.com/aps-air-cool...-pan-p-30.html)

3. any advice on oil pans or spacers with taps? I know there was a huge thread on tapping the upper oil pan vs. just using a tap on a spacer/pan.. I'd rather not tap, PLUS I can do this mod before I get the vortech.

(i'd like to get sensors like a wideband and do oil pan stuff before i even get the FI kit, just to make sure its solid before i change a million variables at once)

Thanks guys!

P.S. I plan on posting a ton of information about the vortech install and all the stuff I do on my X. I am learning a lot and I like to contribute back to this forum whenever I can

I've never heard of 'em. . . and $98 seems cheap, but I guess you could try and trailblaze.

he drives a 350? I was asking specifically about the AWD Sedan .. the X.. because it has some differences. I know the stock oil pan is the same, i am just wondering if there is anything in the way on the X that would make the APS Pan not fit.

Ill take some pics this weekend. Got to take the cover off and get her lifted with some decent lighting. It would be good to have a bunch of "X" shots on the web for reference.

Oh, you should check with ma_sha1. He has an HKS supercharged X. I'm not sure how that kit is set up (other than the pics that were hksusa.com) , but he may hay have some decent pics.

Hey Konsole, I saw this thread, but coudn't find any follow-up. I have a 2005 G35x and am thinking about a Vortech S/C. Did you go through with it? Results?

Posted to another thread about this, but Vortech apparently told the tuner I talked to that they had never done a 35x and weren't sure the piggyback ECU would work. Any issues with that? What did you do for your tune?
