Hi, I just got my 04 G35 ST (just got it back yesterday...) and everything works fine. Just had the APS ST system put in at GMT, cool peeps. just got a couple of questions for the persons on here with the APS ST.
1: What type of exhaust are you running.
2: When was the first time that you ran into a problem (milage, months, years... ) it could be anything from sparkplugs to a blown engine.
3: what things would be recommened to add on later.
Thanks

How do you like the ex cutout? I'm thinking of getting one because my HFC is cutting power big time up top.Originally Posted by terps

Do you have any vids of it open? Is there a major sound difference?

I had the APS ST, with a Borla Cat Back Exhaust; they had to fabricate at reverse pipe to hook of the exhaust.
As for the kit itself (which was installed and purchased a year back), the car was constantly in the shop. It was professionally installed by APS' approved west coast dealer and I did not fault the installation.
Some of the problems: oil pan cracked (had a lowered car and it ran across a rock); had two bouts with smoke coming out of the exhaust fixed through a new part (APS covered the repairs) and then the turbo started leaking oil.
Got rid of the car at that point -- the guys at GTM are good tuners; I hope you live close to them because with that set up you are going to be there quite often -- do a search on the kit and I think you will come across Tig or something like that, who will post his travails in trying to go with the set up
better yet, got to 350zmotoring and do a search.
Good luck with the kit -- it has good low and high end power; when it was running my car hummed..

so far no problems. it's probably going to be sitting there for awhile, going to have some other stuff done to it. so did you have any engine or trans problems with that car, how was it on gas, about how much HP did you have?
