Question Strange power cut out on hard rpm shifts after motor build

We put my built motor in last week and it was tuned on Friday. Power is amazing given I have a sedan with the smaller fuel delivery line than the coupe or Z and we still made 538/490 on 91 pump gas.

But now for the problem. When I drive normal or semi aggressive things are fine. When I am full throttle and take it to almost rev limit the electrical system blips when I shift. For an example on a 2nd or 3rd gear hard shift the headlights, stereo, UTEC and all my gauges reset. I believe my ECU is also resetting. They don't stay off for any amount of time, just a quick blip but it's enough to be scary...

I have added larger grounds all over the motor and put a larger ground to the UTEC and ECU mount.

It seems like there is a large surge of power when I shift or something. This sucks.

Does anyone have any other ideas of things I may need to check?

Damn Tim congrats on the power, is it possible that something is not plugged in all the way or one of the grounds did not get hooked up with motor being pulled. Good luck and keep us updated

Yeah I'm not sure what the heck it could be. I'm going to keep looking over everything tonight.

That's not good, I hope you fix the problem and update us what it is so we can know for future preferences, I hate it when electrical problems happen to the car, I hate that one of the most...grrr

is only at high rpms? it might be an over-volt condition, maybe an underdrive pully on your alternator would help? (just a shot in the dark).

If that were the case I would expect it to happen before I let off. I also would expect others with higher rev limits to see this issue. My limit is still 6800 since my power curve drops off after that.
