Procharger Install
let me know if you end up doing it your self and need a instruction, I'll go find mine for you. But in my opinion even if you are a mechanic, just hand it off to the vq specialists to handle this, unless you know our motor from top to bottom. Good luck buddy
its not that hard to install if u have any knowledge of an engine but if u dont trust urself then have some1 else do it but honestly i would do it my self to save the money for the other parts u need such as injectors utec utec map sensor sparkplugs fuel pump and so on
thats true to, its just i took it to a shop and the installers there were major slack-off idiots and didn't know wtf they were doing even if they said they did, yeah they had a mechanic background, yet even if you're a mechanic background, you got to know sports/racing cars, and vq engines especially to start messing with FI on our cars. Our cars are like glass, be nice and gentle with it, mess up and it breaks, and when/if it does, major $$ to solve the problem. I learn the hard way. But again, if you're good at this, no doubt in it, so good luck!
Do it man! It's worth it! I was cheap at first and paid 700 bucs for the install and 350 for a tune at different shops. Ohh heeeellll do I regret it!
Forge are vq specialists so they know what they doing, especially when it's not that far from you. If I were you, save up or invest in them, get it done correctly and right the first time, and pay for the thing Once!
Good luck buddy...
