That would either be the Launch control backfiring or the slick screetching (they were still spinning). The bouncing was the car squating inbetween shifts.

I was with Julian tonight tuning my car and we did some WOT shifts. WOW. The shifts were so much smoother, the ones I didn't miss that is, hehe.
It felt like there was almost no loss in momentum and the lift off and back on the gas bucking associated with regular shifting. I definately have to work on my shifting speed though. I would definately recommend this to those would go to the drag strip or drive on the agressive side.

Hey everyone, I have posted a new version of the WOT Box software on our website. This release includes a few improvements that I recommend trying out. You can download the update from our website at:
http://www.n2mb.com/

Direct link to the 350z page:
http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotboxsoftware3

Let me know if you have any problems updating your WOT Box.

You mean the download didn't work with 2 different USB to serial cables? Yeah, sometimes people have trouble with them. I recommend this one:

I know it works.... Everyone else who has used it on Vista and XP has said it worked too...

Just updated it this morning at work so haven't had a chance to drive and test it out yet. Do I really need to press the clutch all the way when shifting or will the WOT box recognize the clutch being depressed earlier. I could definately cut my shift time if I could shift like before going down only about half way.

Yes, it should engage with very minimal clutch travel since we use the clutch up switch.

There is a test procedure in the instructions that you can use to make sure it is working properly. Here it is:

1. Key on the car but do not start the engine. Press the gas pedal to the floor. You should see the LED on the WOT Box start to rapidly blink. If it does not, check your APP signal connection (WOT Box BLUE wire).
2. Next, with the gas pedal still fully depressed, press the clutch pedal to the floor. You should see the LED on the WOT Box briefly go out, and then come back on solid for one second and then finally resume blinking rapidly. If you do not see this, check your Clutch Pedal Position Switch signal connection (WOT Box GREEN wire).
3. Next, start the engine. Quickly press the gas pedal to the floor and immediately step on the clutch. You should hear the engine start to rev up, stumble for a short period while the ignition and fuel is cut, then return back on and continue rev'ing. Remove your foot from the gas before you hit the rev limiter. The 2-step will not engage if the gas is depressed before the clutch. This is normal. If the engine does not stumble or pause when the LED turns out, then check the WOT Box RED / BLACK paired wires. Verify that the RED and BLACK 16 AWG are wired facing the proper way. If they are reversed, the ignition cut will not work.
4. Lastly, test the 2-Step. Press the clutch pedal down and then press the gas pedal all the way down. The engine should rev up to the desired RPM and hold. If it does not, be sure to remove your foot from the gas before you hit the rev limiter. If the 2-step does not work, check the Ignition coil control signal (WOT Box YELLOW wire)

Ok, will try shifting without clutch to the floor, that should help out the times.

that will help grind gears for sure, the clutch still needs to be fully disengaged from the engine prior to shifting..
