Stop crying.. There is a solution for your FMIC.

so since i got my vortech, the front bumper hides the intercooler pretty well. so a friend of mine came up with this fantastic idea to make some little inserts. heres a teaser, while cruisngcoupe uploads the rest of the pictures. enjoy.

Do you have 'em on both sides? I was going to put a single "scoop" or "deflector" on the driver's side only and run an oil cooler/trans cooler in the other gap. Smart making it not the whole length of the opening too! I didn't think of that. I was going to redirect the flow from the entire opening. . . I also think I'm going to the a 28" x 7.5" 3.5" intercooler, which is 8" wider, exposing more of the core to the opening. But, it would reduce pressure (albeit small enough that I wouldn't care.)

P.S. You should paint them pink!

yes i have them on both sides. i have my trans cooler behind the grill, and i dont have an oil cooler. mine is not the whole legnth of the opening.. ill get more pics soon.
