Forced induction is not illegal in california, there are stricter laws about it, but it is not completly illegal. There are many ways around it.

great idea super OG but not practical. Hi i have boost and just incase you didnt notice my PPSSHHH here are lights pointed at my IC to show you my car is illegal.

thats one of the main reasons i have the oem bumper still with a lip and not a full replacement bumper to show of my IC from my vortech s/c. i like keeping it sleeper with no IC visable. plus the cops here are ****** when they see that.

I've NEVER HAD a police problem- And it's on it's own switch- It's really just when you pull up and feel like ebing cool I guess?

I don't know my car isn't even running now so I guess it doesn't matter.

I think there are ways around the smog check. But unless you are a cop, there is no way that I know of once one gets pulled over in CA.

Don't you have an emblem that says "supercharged G35"?

Please explain this theory of yours... because as far as I'm aware, any mod before the cats need a CARB EO#m and the only type of boost kits available for the G with a CARB EO# would be superchargers. I don't think Turbo kits are even legal for any car registered to be driven on public roads and highways.

Sorry if I'm wrong but isnt a Supercharger a form of Forced Induction? And since Cali requires the CARB EO# for it to be used, wouldnt that also be a form of stricter regulation?

dunno ... cuz if I did, I wouldnt be askin

I think it's a terrible idea, regardless of how well it is or isn't executed.
