V3 Vortech Now Available for G35 and 350Z !!!

So I just ordered my vortech and found out that they're releasing kits for the G35 and 350z with the V3 supercharger that requires no oil lines like the procharger.

You can find out more info about it here :

http://www.streetlegaltv.com/forum/v...ed-v3-194.html

So I just read this thread here:

http://forums.g35club.org/zerothread?id=346248&page=1

Frank @ Vortech says the following:

Hey Jack03,

I apologize that you never got a response.

We don't have a complete system for an 07 G35 as of yet. I'm working with engineering to get one done. We thought the 07 G35 was going to have the VQ35HR motor like the 07 350Z. Well as you know it didn't, it came with the VQ35DE. The G37 ended up with the HR motor similar layout to the 07 350Z HR.

We need to update the list on our website. The V3 is now available for the 03-06 350Z/G35 kits.

If anyone with an 07 G35 coupe (stock) in so cal reads this we need a car for R&D. You'll get a discount on the kit and FREE installation. We'll need the car for up to 4 weeks. Give me a call for more details 805-247-0226 Ext.225
So I'm gonna call them tomorrow and hope that I can get the V3 instead to ease my self install.

The guy that emailed you seems a bit confused. If they have a complete system for the 03-04 & 05-06 G35, then the 07 Coupe must also have one.

Why do they need an 07 Coupe for R&D?

Anyhow, I wen't a little off-topic.

oh it's not an e-mail it's just a quote from that thread from a guy that works at vortech.

I think they're assuming that there may be differences between the '07 coupe and the others so they're waiting to make sure before releasing a kit that says it covers it.

pretty good for business I think. they just want to be safe rather than sorry.
