Second Thoughts on Installing Vortech

So I got the car jacked up and the front bumper off...But I am having second thoughts about trying to do the install of the Vortech myself. I am thinking I should take just the car to Nissan or GRD in chicago and have them do the install for me...

Thoughts?

^+1 If you feel uncomfortable dont do it especially if you are not confident in yourself or own work. FI self installs are not for the mechanically inclined.

Yea Sam hooked me up with a shop about 5 miles from my house. Didn't even know they were there. They do forced induction installs and did the installs on his car and on Mike's car as well. So guess I will take it to them. Better to be safe then sorry.

Exactly. It's not a difficult install if you have the right tools, at least one other person to help and know more than just the basics about installing FI. If you are having any doubts, take it in.

don't take it to nissan. Take it to a performance shop that can handle the install and tune
