Less informed?

Everyone who answered you with a sarcastic remark knows PLENTY about turbos! Search the board, is what they are basically saying. Why spend thousands of dollars to go to 60 mph quicker? And just racing to 60 mph would imply street racing, which is not allowed to be talked about on the boards. So "turbo noob", go do some searching.

I've been searching for awhile, reason why I wanted a direct answer, not a answer that doesn't fully relate to the topic. I was just confused and needed help. I'm not afraid to ask questions that might be dumb to some.

I come from a boxing forum where I have 30,000 post. So I see it all the time and try to help the noobs. So I'm just doing the same.

AWD + nitrous is what you want.

Alright, here is a simple answer. When my 06' Coupe 6MT was stock it would go 0-60 in just a hair under 6 seconds. I have a single turbo system and 340whp and have done 0-60 just a wink past 4 seconds flat.

But...I am with the preceeding posts. Who cares about 0-60 really? Don't turbo to try and improve your 0-60. Turbo to improve your 40 - 140, or improve your 14 second 1/4 mile time to 12.5 seconds, or to improve your autocross or time attack. I won't give you a hard time about the question since it seems to be every manufacturers benchmark on acceleration. But just know from here on out that it doesn't mean bunk. The question really is...How much faster and quicker is a turbo G35 compared to a N/A G35? The answer is...Much, much faster, and quicker in every aspect.

Ok well, turbo's need to spool up. Meaning the your 0-60 is going to be faster, but your real increase is gonna be 40-120. Basically turbo's give a much higher power in the upper rev's, instead of low rev's which is off the line.

The legendary supra's are know for have superb ability to take turbo's and therefore nothing can beat them at high speeds, although from a standstill they are just pretty good instead of unbelievable.

Turbo Lag:

High Speed Supra, 110mph roll vs Turbo G35:

Supra vs Lambo:

Those are massive turbos, so bigger turbo= bigger lag.

A usual turbo on a G35 will run about a 4.5 0-60 I think.
