2.87 pulley, high flow cats or test pipes, bigger injectors, fuel pump, plenum spacer, water/meth injection and a good tune would be a good start.

time out. lets go over this.

i ASSUME you got a full kit if it came with a fuel pump?

if you did, not much you can do.

heres the deal with the pulley.

the vortech as it is isnt made for smaller pulleys like the 3.12 or 2.87. thats how i ****ed up my blower. you need upgraded bearings and other internals to handle the overspinning of the blower with a smaller pulley.

my supporting mods:

440cc injectors
custom plenum
test pipes
hks exhaust
utec
3.12 pulley.

im making 370 whp at 9 psi.

hope this helps. PM me with any questions you might have.

thanks.

i have never taken my car to the track. i do plan on it.

vortech CLAIMS your warranty is void if you upgrade the pulleys.

i mean.. it tears up your blower. look at mine.. perfect example.

man i love making jokes on my car. its the most fun.

so i got a 3.12, blew up the blower.

i got in a little argument with vortech because my blower was rebuilt 2 months ago. they are currently replacing my blower with upgraded internals.

Just to clear things up, you don't need to send your sc to Vortech to get anything upgraded with a smaller pulley. You just need to know the max rpm that you can push your sc too. For instance, on my G, the max impeller speed of my sc is reached at 6800rpm. Vortech has a calculator on their site where you can determine what the max rpm is with your setup before you start overspinning your sc. As long as you don't exceed that max rpm, you should be fine.

get the 3.12 pulley. keep the stock FMU, ss box and inline fuel pump. get someone who knows what the heck they're doing with an SS box. then you'll make HP like i did. done

scroll all the way down. use that calculator. FYI, your crank pulley size is 5.75
