OMG I love Boost

Just picked the car up tonight from getting the Vortech installed with 3.33 pulley. I almost don't think I will install the 3.12 pulley. I think I found just the right amount of boost. I am soo happy with it. I can't wait to drop it off at the paint place tomorrow so I can get the bodykit installed

Give it a few months and you'll upgrade to a smaller pulley. I started with 5psi and thought that was enough. 2 weeks later switched to my 8psi and never looked back. Also until you get smoke by a faster car then you'll up that boost too...lol

how much are you pushint anyways?

Every now and then I try to reminisce on the day when I ordered the kit, the day I dropped my car to MRC, the day I picked it up and the first few days of my FI'd days..... I couldn't get the same high feeling but maybe when I build my motor and go for 500+ I'll get that same feeling again..

Tell me about it bro. I remember I was so excited when I first picked my G up from GTM that I almost ran out of gas. lol!! Now I am so used to the boost, it almost doesn't feel boosted anymore.

Let's trade for a day. I'm sure that will help you appreciate your blown VQ a bit more

What all did you change when you up'd to 8psi? Did you upgrade your injectors or the FMU? Or did you go witha tuner kit from the jump?

Also guys, what should my AFR be? What is lean and what is rich? I have dual Widebands that run about 14 when not in boost and drop down to about 11.5-12.0 when under boost.

I have a Turbo and Utec with 440cc inj. I had a 4.5psi wastegate spring in the beginning so the first week I was just on my wastegate spring. Utec can control boost so I have another 8psi map that I can switch too.
