AUX oil cooler

when installing an auxilary oil cooler is there any way to control the valving thermostatically? ...previous threads?? Or is temp control not worth the hassle?

Bringing oil up to operating temp is important, it is more critical where there is drastic temp changes,in a nut shell the sooner the oil get to operating temp the sooner it can do its job.

OUR GTM OIL COOLERS HAVE A SANDWICH PLATE ADAPTORS WITH BUILT IN THERMOSTAT (180DEGREE)

Here is a link to what I have on my car with a Stillen oil cooler. Its a mocal OT2 type thermostat (180 degree).

I believe that has the valve in it, not sure. It's what I have. You can buy hoses and what not for cheap on summit to, why spend $500?
