Don't mean to sound naive, but anyone with sense will find it difficult to blow the motor with a SC unless running over 15psi with a poor tune. Just my 2 cents but I can see maintenance cost to an extent.

haha yea.. i didnt do it on my own :P i work 20-30 hours a week though with school 5 days a week, so it's not like I don't have money, but I definitely could not afford my G or a supercharger w/o help haha

Why is everyone hatin on this dude for wanting to boost his G? Do you think because of his age it's too much?

 

ended up with Vortech super with utec.
and all the little goodies that go along with it...
luckily im at a tech school with people who love putting turbos/supers on for the hell of it on cars, so were gonna install it and then one of them has a friend in Alb. that does tunes, and tune it for like 5-6 psi.
(its soo freaking slow b/c of altitude its not even funny....)
