Has anyone had any problems with the turbonetics kit on a sedan with the HR motor (05-up)? Problems like reliability, performance was hyped up by turbonetics, fitment problems, driveablility issues?

 

this particular kit needs alot of extras to make it work properly. it doesn't come with the right supporting mods to make it run "safely" in my opinion.

 

HR motor is actually from 07+ sedans and 07+ 350Zs only. 05-up might be the RevUp engine you're talking about?

 

oops....so pretty much its not a safe bolt on kit.

 

Talk to QuadCam, he had one on his 05 sedan for a while before he changed to TT.

 

Only think I've heard about the bolt is that the ECU reflash is total junk and you'd be better off with almost anything else. I'm looking into this kit right now so I've been doing a little research. Only other think is the 550cc injectors end up not being enough if wanting to make BIG power (build required)

 

the only thing the kit needs is a UTEC or any other kind of EMS

the re-flash it comes w/ has worked for some people but its not reliable at all

there is still the issue of the a/c line but most new kits get the longer line already but if you buy it used you might wanna check for that
