ATI Procharger question

can an ATI procharger setup for a non-revup engine be installed on a revup engine? And if so what parts need to be replaced (if any)

I've been offered a complete ATI setup from a nonrevup coupe at a great price but I have the revup engine. I just want to make sure I can use the kit before dropping the cash on it

Thanks

I just looked in my owners manual and could not find anything stating some type of difference between the revup and non-revup or even referring to it. I think a quick call (913-338-3086) to procharger's tech dept. would clear it up.

thanks for taking a look in the manula for me. I'll give their tech dept. a call at the number you gave and see if I can get a definitive answer from them. I'' report my findings as soon as I get off the phone with them

Thanks alot!

ok I called ATI and to be honest it didn't seem like he even knew the answer to my question.

According to him they do the full ATI kit for the 03-04 and the tuner kit is for the 05-07 which doesn't include the fuel system. Also he says they didn't change part numbers or make any other changes to the kit aside from leaving out the fuel parts.

But then he tells me they have the kit for the 350Z and the year range is the 03-07 LOL
I tell him that the Z shares the same motor as the G35 and all he says is "well there ya go". Hopefully their supercharger performs better than their customer service department does cuz that guy didn't instill any confidence in me just now

I've heard that there customer service is hit or miss. I talked to a guy named Shannon in the tech dept who was very helpful with getting me some missing parts. I decided to delete the whole fuel system that ATI provides anyway and go with walbro, injectors and a UTEC for the tuning.

that was exactly what i was going to do...

walbro fuel pump
rc 440cc injectors
emanage ultimate

my concern was actually if the bracket was going to mount up properly. I could care less about their fuel system parts. I just wanted to make sure the bracket and pullies would all mount up properly without additional modification

I know vortech has 2 different kits depending on the motor and ATI makes just the one kit for both the G & Z so I wanted to be sure before dropping 4k on a ATI setup

If you decide to go with the procharger I can email you the itemized packaging list to make sure you are getting everything included in the kit you need. I bought a used complete procharger kit but, later found out it was missing some major parts. I hate to see any one else getting ripped.

turns out I called the shop the ATI was installed at and was told the ATI is only for the non-revup motor. So there goes that idea LOL

Back to my original plan of the Vortech with T trim...

ATI seller was local to me so I figured I'd go that route for the convenience but nothing I can do about that now

Thanks

Mike

ATI Procharger question = Procharger Suuucks!!! = How do I know??? = I use to own one = Sold mine 2 months after I installed it

When going FI expect the unexpected, there's always going to be a problem minor or major, it's bound to happen, although mostly everything is fixable, with the Procharger you'll run into problems more than an any average FI system. The people at Procharger HAVE NO CLUE what they're talking about when they come down to VQs, they DO NOT care about *** cars.

yeah I got to see first hand this morning what you are saying... I called them for confirmation of the kit bolting up to the revup motor and the guy couldn't give me a yes/no answer... I was providing him with more info than he was giving me and I was the one supposed to be asking the questions LOL

I'm gonna stick to vortech and call it a day

What problems did you personally have with your procharger?
