Powerlab Turbo kit street legal?

Based on the information I could find on the powerlab kit, the exhaust sections they provide do not have a cat, and connect directly to the rear section of the exhaust. I live in Texas and must pass the exhaust sniffer every year, and am wondering if this is possible or would I have to fab a cat into the exhaust somehow? thanks

This is one of the kits I'm following very closely. On my350, there's a couple threads discussing this topic.

Last week I was told all you need to do is have a muffler shop make a reverse y pipe and then I should be good to go.

Let me see if I can find that thread. One guy said he bought a magnaflow cat and had it welded onto the reverse y pipe and bingo street legal turbo!

That's exactly what I'd do with this setup on my G coupe

No cat is included... you have to have an aftermarket cat welded into the lower section of the downpipe, just before the exhaust
