my car never came with navi, how hard would it be to install another LCD screen uptop where i could hook this camp sys too. It would look good to have dual screens operating at one time that way i don't lose my Nav on my AVIC3

Hey guys i'm getting this for m 2008 G35 sedan, can anyone help me on how to install it and what should i get to make an easy installation, i want to get the reading while driving, someone told it'll involve some ebrake wire cutting and bypassing stuff to make it run on the aux, any other better idea that doesn't involve cutting stuff please.

Prob the last thing I do before tuning the car but here is the set up I’m gonna go wit..

Custom 3 gauge setup below my Avic D3

Defi 52 mm EGT, boost gauge (blue), Innovate A/F gauge.

Camp 2
Oil temp, press sensors, water temp sensor
This..

HKS EVC boost controller
Greddy turbo timer

I also plan on running the TurboXs tuner wideband
And a notebook mini to tune my utec.

Quick couple of questions....recently I contemplated having an LCD installed in my non navi compartment.

So you're saying I can take those AV imputs and use that to connect to CAMP system? If so I'm on it.

I think it looks much better and cleaner than a bunch of guages but that's my opinion.

Also how reliable is the system and do those needles move in real time on the screen or is there a delay of some sort?

I honestly do not like the CAMP 2 system very much...Ive see it on a few cars and I was not greatly impressed. Also like somebody else above said you have to pay for EVERY sensor and it gets expensive. I personally prefer the Defi Gauges.

Well, you don't have to pay for EVERY sensor. From the OBDII port, it reads timing, batt voltage, water temp, intake temp, and a few others. I bought the interface unit and a temp sensor (oil), pressure sensor (oil), and boost sensor for mine. I got it all for under $800 shipped. That's not too bad, IMO. Especially if you can't stand the sight of gauges. AND it's completely hidden when the car is off.
