So I'm returning back to stock, and I removed my Vortech kit. Last night I finally got around to installing my stock injectors. After I reinstalled everything, I did not immediately prime the system to check for leaks. *mistake on my part* Plenum and everything got put back on.

My question is...if I didn't lube the o-rings with motor oil, how likely will they be to leak? That's like 28 bolts I don't want to take off again to check.

 

Looking through the parts diagram, looks like I also didn't have these spacers for the fuel rail.

 

if you have rc injectors on your setup, they shouldve came with the aluminum spacers that a bit taller then the factory ones. obviously you have figured out your problem, no spacer at all equals to busted orings.

 

Well, my injectors initially I got used, so they didn't have the spacers. No leaks and car runs well.

 

It wasn't that big a deal really. Working on cars is fun.

ive never lubed the injector o-rings. never had an issue on any of the cars ive done
