Test drove it today, and found out its a Stage 4 Stillen Supercharger, with Stillen straight pipe exhaust, no catalytic converters, what do you all think?
Any input? And it drove like a dream

Along with finding out about the Stage 4 S/C instead of thinking it was a Stage 2, I also found out that it has a TEIN EDFC mounted in the glovebox with TEIN suspension all around.

Buy it, strip the parts and sell the car. Guaranteed you will make money.

Stillen is the safest FI out there for the VQ and it's hard to F-up the install. I did my own with no issues. The cat delete will lower the boost making it a little safer too.

IMO if the car checks out and there are no suspicious codes you are ok.

Thanks! And it did sound amazing. Now the hard part though, finding someone willing to pass it in a smog test since the stage 4 isnt Cali legal.

Th only clues to it not being a stage2 unit is the color of the pulley and the bigger 7th fuel injector. You would have to know the ins and outs of the stillen to know what stage it is.........and very few people could tell the difference.

Wouldnt the first thing they look for when they see a supercharger is the carb sticker and number though?
Or does it just depends on where you go, and who does it?

The rear brakes are glazed over (possibly the front too, but no pics), I highly doubt the owner 'barely got on it'. Most likely needs new pads/rotors...not cheap.

I think this car has been for sale for a while. I remember some threads last year about people interested in buying it.
