Which pistons/rods

Guys,

Building out my VQ35DE now and am trying to nail down the first components. My goal is 600whp using the Greddy 20G/Haltech combo. Although I'm aiming for 600hp now, I'd like to "overbuild" a bit so I can:
  • have room for "future expansion" (e.g. more HP by adding supporting mods!)
  • run more reliably at lower boost levels using stronger engine components
Anyway, I was going to just get the CP (8.5:1) or Wiseco (8.8:1) 96mm pistons and call it a day. Then I discovered the Cosworth pistons. They look incredibly strong but the price difference is huge.

CP - $850 (http://www.importpartspro.com/cpvq96pi03in.html)

Wiseco - $700 (http://www.importpartspro.com/wivq96pi03in.html)

Cosworth - $1750/set (http://www.cosworth.com/shop_item.php?productid=403)

Are the Cosworths worth the extra cash or should I go with the more affordable options?

Also, regarding the connecting rods, I'm looking at some Crowers and Cosworths again. Here are the choices:

Crower - $1113 (http://thmotorsports.com/brian_crowe.../i-259679.aspx)

Cosworth - $1494 (http://www.cosworth.com/shop_item.php?productid=444)

Regarding the Crowers, I actually called and talked to one of their techs and he wanted to special order a MAXI-LITE Series 6 (FI, Nitrous applications) set for me at $1125. But unfortunately I don't want to wait 6-8 weeks to start my build.

Anyway, you guys have any advice or preferences with the options above before I start buying?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Take care,
B

For 600RWHP, I think you will be fine with the CP/Wiesco or even Eagle Rods IMO...

What if I want to run up to 800whp some day. I'd like to ensure this build allows for future expansion too. Heck I might even want to go 1000hp some day.

Just want to ensure I've got the right internals in there from the get go!

I think I've decided on these rods:

http://jdmultimate.com/brian_crower/.../i-259678.aspx

Now for the pistons, I'm still up in the air...

Wiseco, CP, or Cosworth? Do the pistons really make that much of a difference if I'm building for 800-1000whp?

All of them have excellent reviews....
96mm
8.5:1 or 8.8:1 compression ratio

I going the same route with my build on the Greddy 20G kit for max output over 550.

May seem ova kill but im using Wiseco coated 8.8:1 pistions and Pauter rods. BTW didn't pay 700.00 for the Wisecos.
