How much Oil do you use with the APS TT Kit

Guys,

I was just wondering. I was told only 5 qrts. That just doesn't seem correct with the larger pan.
Is this correct?

Also i was told that the oil level will show just above the Low level when filled. I understand the reasoning, but just want to check to make sure i have the correct info.

Any help is appreciated.

Thx

This is an APS TT kit, not an AAM spacer or JWT kit. The return lines run low into the pan, trust me it is NOT 6.25 quarts

Anything over 5 qts and you will have some smoking issues with the turbos, the pickup is dropped lower into the pan so you will be ok with 5 quarts.

I only had it installed a week now and it looks like there isn't any on the dipstick at all. So i put a half quart in. Checked it this morning & it looks the same. I know i have to run it and then check it after 10-20 mins of being stopped.
Is it natural to burn thru oil at first?
I had a small leak at the plug which i fixed but i don't think i lost 1/2 quart.

the dipsticks on our cars are retarded, plus when the oil is new its really hard to see.

And no it is not natural to burn oil at all

The car stock takes ~5qts. I thought the APS larger pan took an extra 0.5 qts.

I use 6, i believe technically its 5.5 if you want it to be right at the L on the dipstick
