Guys with a Turbo or S/C, whats your EGT temp's run? Whats the max i should see the gauge hit?

My thermocouple is located near the collectors on the left manifold, closes to cyl 6. So it depends on where everyone has their probe located... Max is around 850c, when on full boost... when cruising 80mph in 6th, it stays around 700c...

 

They placed mine right after the cat on teh driver side and i get about 800-900 crusing and around 1200-1300 when im on it.

1200?! I'm assuming thats in Farenheit. Otherwise that will melt your motor. Also, your EGT probes are in a terrible location, useless to say the least. They need to be as close to the cyll as possible.

 

oh well , it doesnt matter anymore, its all coming off next week. Thanks for your input though.
